We welcome back Israeli cellist Inbal Segev with a knock-your-socks-off popular concerto by Viennese crossover pianist and composer Friedrich Gulda. In a city known for its conservative taste, Gulda was certainly emboldened by his illustrious and irreverent predecessor, Beethoven. With its majestic opening, elegant second movement and rowdy finale, Beethoven’s Seventh Symphony surely loosened their lederhosen in 1813 Vienna.
